In this drawing class, with Greg Lendeck, participants will create a large-scale artwork composed of three overlapping contour line drawings using different colored pencils. This layered approach challenges observational skills while encouraging thoughtful decision-making throughout the process. The project concludes with the addition of value and contrast, transforming the drawing into a bold, dimensional composition that explores both form and negative space.

This workshop introduces participants to the expressive practice of gesture drawing using ink and unconventional tools. Working from live or reference figures, participants will create a series of quick, energetic drawings that capture movement, posture, and the essence of the human form.
Using extended tools like dowels and brushes encourages full-body movement and a more intuitive approach to mark-making. Selected drawings will then be developed further using layered ink techniques to explore tone, form, and depth.
No prior experience is necessary - just a willingness to experiment and work freely.

Celebrate Father’s Day with a playful and creative printmaking workshop using LEGO bricks! Participants will design and build their own printing plates, then use ink to create bold, graphic prints on paper. This hands-on class blends art, design, and a bit of engineering—perfect for families, kids, and anyone looking to make a meaningful handmade gift.

Participants will:

● Understand the basics of relief printmaking

● Explore pattern, repetition, and composition

● Use unconventional materials (LEGO) as a printmaking tool

● Create multiple original prints to take home

● Experiment with color layering and texture
