Join the Everson Museum of Art and Come Out Central New York for a special pop-up event in conjunction with Syracuse Guerrilla Queer Events.From 10:30 AM–12:30 PM, join Everson arts instructors for a clay class inspired by works in the Everson’s collection and current ceramics exhibitions. Participants will enjoy an overview of ceramics at the Everson, a demonstration of different clay techniques, and the opportunity to create and decorate their own small clay project. All clay projects will be fired by instructors after the workshop and will be available for pickup at a later date. Preregistration is required for class participation.From 12:30–2:30 PM, the Syracuse Guerrilla Queer Cafe takes over Louise Café. Enjoy artful bites and beverages in the Museum’s Louise Café while exploring the incredible functional ceramics of the Rosenfield Collection. No pre-registration is required for the café meet-up.
