Mid-Winter Break for Teens: Exploring Ceramics Through Hand Building
February 19-22, 1:30pm-4:00pm
This class will explore both historical and contemporary sculptural and functional ceramic art works. It will introduce and familiarize the student with basic methods and preparing and forming clay using pinch, coil, and slab construction techniques. Basic methods of decorating and glazing ceramic objects will also be demonstrated.
